Still Holding

I guess my point is that we could win. By win I mean to keep some people living past 100 years of age. I have a couple of pieces of paper on my wall with names of family/friends that i’m trying to keep alive, and so far like only 1 or 2 out of 100 have passed on. So we are, “Still Holding”
My main objective is to keep my mother alive beyond her allotted 100 years time. That is what I focus on each day, what might I be able to do to make the odds of her survival increase? I often produce data, upgrades, upgrading people to make them stronger, and thus, their outputs higher. This does not directly save my mother, but does so indirectly — These upgraded people will go on to score really high, thus, literally paving the way for my mom to continue her life with a little bit of help from myself.
As for the rest of the people, I haven’t given up on them, but I do know that they are going to die, that there is no great victory for them, they will wake up in the next universe (heaven) and thus find something like immortality, but as for staying in their place of memory, this earth, we all know that’s not going to happen.
We know this because of how hard it is right now. There’s no way to save them, no, but perhaps we can lessen things such as cancer, dementia, and while I don’t directly focus on doing these things, indirectly, the things that I do do provide for these people, and that they are not overlooked.
I’ve got something for everyone, and I do think that it is alot (for each person). I often focus on trying to alleviate the pain caused by doing thousands of years of time, and I often come up way short. The hero of this story is not me, it is them, and I am just an aside. I often fail at trying to alleviate their pain, if you have any ideas, please…
Teach them to me!
